You can find us on the ground floor of 3 Wood Street. Being right there on Wood Street means we are in a pretty central part of the city, which is great for business but a total nightmare for parking. Our office at Pharmalink India is mostly a hub for coordination and making sure the medicine supply chain doesn't break down. The ground floor location is handy because we don't have to deal with elevators, but we do get a lot of dust from the street coming in under the door. It’s a fairly basic setup—desks, chairs, a couple of computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We spend most of our day on the phone or responding to emails, trying to figure out where the latest shipments are. The atmosphere is usually pretty relaxed, although it gets a bit frantic when a deadline is approaching. We’ve got a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which basically keeps us going through the afternoon slump. It’s not the most exciting place in the world, but it’s where we get things done. People often pop their heads in thinking we are a retail shop, and we have to explain we just handle the distribution side. It’s just a regular office life in a busy part of town, nothing more and nothing less for us.
