Our place is at 124/C, Amherst Street, right in the heart of Kolkata. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know how busy it gets with the trams and the shops nearby. Petron Engineering Construction Limited has been here for a good while now. It’s an old building, but it works for what we need. We do a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to engineering calculations and project management from these desks. West Bengal has a specific way of doing things, and we fit right into that rhythm. The office isn't anything fancy; it’s got that old Kolkata charm, which basically means a lot of paper and tall ceilings. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to get the engineering work right and make sure our construction sites are moving along as they should. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout over it to be heard, but that’s just life on Amherst Street. We spend our mornings going through site updates and our afternoons dealing with suppliers. It’s a lot of coordination. There’s no big corporate manual here, just a few of us making sure the projects don’t stall. We like being local and staying close to where the action is. It’s a practical way to run a business, staying honest and just doing the work that needs to be done every single day.
