People Avenues Consulting Services, New Delhi

Our office, People Avenues Consulting Services, New Delhi, is actually located at A - 203, Ganga Block, Koyla Vihar, VIP Road, Kolkata - 52. It’s a bit of a trek for some of us, especially with the traffic on VIP Road which is notoriously bad at almost any hour. The post office is near the airport, so we get the sound of planes taking off and landing all day long. Ganga Block is part of the Koyla Vihar complex, and A-203 is our specific unit. It’s on the second floor. The building is a bit older, so the lift can be a little slow, and many of us just take the stairs. Inside, the office is a bit of a maze with all the desks and chairs we’ve squeezed in there. We have shelves full of folders and a lot of binders that we’ve collected over the years. It’s a busy place with a lot of talking and phone calls happening at once. We don’t have a fancy coffee machine, just a regular kettle and some instant coffee packets in the corner. The view from the window is mostly other buildings in the complex and the busy road in the distance. We’ve made the space our own, even if it’s a bit cluttered. It’s a real working environment where we just focus on the tasks we have for the day. Being near the airport area gives the neighborhood a specific kind of energy that we’ve grown used to.
