Pauls Creation

Pauls Creation is located at 235 Picnic Garden Road, right by Bondel Gate. It’s a busy corner of the world, especially being near Baliganj Phari. There is always a lot of movement outside. We have been here at Bondel Gate for a good number of years now. The shop is nothing fancy, just a place where we do our work and sell what we make. The walls are covered in shelves and every shelf is packed. We try to stay organized, but when things get busy, it’s hard to keep everything in its place. You might see a bit of dust here and there, but that’s because we’re always moving things around. We don't have any polished sales pitches. We just show people what we have and let the clothes speak for themselves. The light in the shop is a bit yellow, which gives it a warm feeling I guess. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters and sweeping the front. It’s a ritual. People walking to the Baliganj Phari often peek in. Some stop to chat, others are in a hurry. We’re just part of the local scenery on Picnic Garden Road. It’s a lot of hard work, standing on our feet all day, but it’s our business and we’re proud of that in a quiet way. We just keep going, day after day, doing what we know how to do best.
