Sita Impex

We are based at P-19 Darga Road. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know it has a lot of character and plenty of activity. Sita Impex is right in the middle of it all. The building we are in is an older one, with thick walls that stay somewhat cool in the summer heat. Our office is a busy place. We deal with imports and exports, so there are always papers flying around and the phone is usually ringing at odd hours. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from whatever we are doing at our desks. The tables are covered in folders and there’s always a stack of shipping documents that needs someone’s attention. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time, and we know the neighbors pretty well by now. There’s a tea stall nearby that we frequent when we need a quick break from the paperwork. The work we do is pretty repetitive—lots of checking numbers and making sure the customs details are correct. It’s not the kind of thing you’d call exciting, but it’s what we know how to do and it keeps us occupied. We just try to stay on top of the orders and make sure nothing gets stuck at the port. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication, but that’s just how the impex business works here. We like the rhythm.
