Sovon Paul and the rest of us are over here at 42/1 Selimpur Lane. Pages Consultancy is basically just a group of us working out of this Dhakuria office. It’s a busy spot in Kolkata, you know how it is with the traffic and people always moving. We do consultancy work, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at documents. It’s not glamorous. Most days involve a lot of tea and trying to figure out the best way to help a client with their business paperwork or whatever hurdle they’ve run into. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now, right near the lane where everyone knows each other. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually find us because someone else told them we were okay to work with. That's how it goes in a place like this. We just keep our heads down and handle the tasks as they come in. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered with files, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical setup. We aren’t trying to be the biggest firm in the city, just a reliable one for the folks who walk through our door in Dhakuria. If you’re looking for us, we’re usually here during normal hours, just working through the pile of things on the desk. It is a simple life and we like the neighborhood well enough.
