P. S. Fashion

We are up on the third floor over at Beadon Square. Being on the third floor means we don't get as much walk-in traffic as the shops on the ground level, but we like the quiet. P. S. Fashion has been here at number 6 for a good while. The elevator is a bit slow and sometimes it doesn't work at all, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. It keeps us fit, I guess. Our workspace is filled with sewing machines and rolls of cloth. It’s not a showroom; it’s more of a workshop where things actually get made. The light comes in really nicely through the big windows in the afternoon. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep us moving. It’s mostly just the sounds of scissors cutting and needles clicking all day. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people hear about us. We just focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the finishing is okay before things leave. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big batch of orders. It can be tiring, but it's what we do. The view of the square from up here is actually pretty nice when you take a minute to look out. We are just a small team trying to make a living and pay the rent on time. It's a decent spot.
