P. C. Ghosh & Company Pvt. Ltd. is located at 17J on Rani Branch Road. This is in the Paikpara area, which is very close to the main B T Road. That road is always jammed with traffic, so we tell most of our visitors to try and come by outside of the peak hours. Our building is quite old and has that traditional North Kolkata feeling to it. We handle engineering tasks and general supply work. Even though we are a private limited company on paper, the atmosphere inside is very much like a small family business. The stairs are a bit narrow and the offices are packed with stacks of old files and heavy equipment that we have collected over the years. You can hear the sounds of the trams and buses from the main road if you leave the windows open. We do not have a big neon sign outside, just a small painted board that has faded a bit over time. Most of our clients have been dealing with us for decades, and they usually sit in the old wooden chairs and drink tea with us while we talk about the orders. Things do not move at a high-speed corporate pace here, but the work gets done eventually. Sometimes the street floods a little when it rains heavily, but we just put out some sandbags and keep working through it.
