Overseas Hardware Mart

Overseas Hardware Mart is tucked away at 40 N S Road. We’ve been using P.O. Box No. 2194 for our mail for ages. This part of the city is old and the streets are narrow and always crowded with people and handcarts. Our building has been here for a long time, and it shows its age, but it works for what we need. We sell various hardware supplies, mostly focusing on things that people might need for export or larger construction projects, though we sell to anyone who walks in. The shop is filled with the smell of oil and metal. We have rows of bins filled with nuts, bolts, and specialized fittings. It’s hard to keep everything perfectly tidy because we have so much stuff coming in and going out every day. The staff knows the inventory by heart, so even if you can't see what you need, just ask. We don't bother with computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still written down in ledgers. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it’s worked for us for decades. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door, so we put out a bucket and keep going. We aren't some big corporate chain. We are just a local mart that knows its products. Dealing with the traffic on N S Road is the hardest part of the job, but we're used to it. We keep things moving, one bolt at a time, for everyone who comes through our door and needs help with a repair or project.
