Orion Calltech

6/3A Bindu Palit Lane is where you can find us. It is one of those typical narrow Kolkata lanes where you have to be really careful when a car comes from the other direction. We have been in this spot for a long while now. Orion Calltech is basically a group of us who spend a lot of time on the phones and computers. It is not a flashy glass building or anything fancy like that. It is just an old house that was converted into an office space. The stairs are a bit steep and the ceiling fans make a bit of a clicking sound when they are on full speed in the summer. Most of us live in North Kolkata, so the commute is not too bad compared to going all the way to Salt Lake. We have a small pantry where we keep our lunch boxes and there is always a bit of a joke about who left their empty container in the sink. It gets quite loud in here when everyone is talking at once on different calls, but that is just the nature of what we do. We don't have any fancy mission statements hanging on the walls. We just come in, put on our headsets, and try to finish our shifts without too much trouble. Sometimes we go out for a quick walk during the break to get some fresh air. It is a simple life and we are just regular people making a living in this city.
