Oriental Overseas Exports

Oriental Overseas Exports is the name we go by, and we operate out of our small office here. Since we deal with exports, our schedule can get a bit weird. Sometimes we are here early to catch someone in a different time zone, or staying late to finish up shipping documents. The office is pretty basic. We have maps on the wall and a lot of folders stacked up on every available surface. It’s not a place designed for visitors, really. It’s more of a functional space where we handle the logistics and the boring side of moving goods across borders. We don't have a glossy brochure or a mission statement pinned to the wall. We just focus on making sure the boxes get where they need to go without too much trouble. It can be stressful when a shipment is delayed, and you’ll see us all huddled around the phone trying to figure things out. But most of the time, it’s just the sound of the printer going and someone making a fresh pot of coffee. We are a small group and we’ve worked together for years, so we don't need much ceremony. We just do the work, deal with the customs papers, and try to get home in time for dinner. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. There are always new rules to learn about shipping.
