Nirlep Appliances is located right at 39 A, Hari Ghost St, which is just off Beadon St. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded around here during the day. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and most people in the neighborhood recognize the shopfront. The morning usually starts with opening up the shutters and getting the dust off the display units. Being on Hari Ghost St means there is always someone passing by or a delivery truck trying to navigate the narrow turns. We handle all sorts of kitchen and home appliances here. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights and high-end carpets, but it gets the job done. Sometimes the fan in the back makes a bit of noise, but we are used to it by now. Most of our day is spent talking to folks who walk in looking for something specific for their homes. Beadon St has a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of that daily rhythm. We try to keep things organized at 39 A, though when a new shipment arrives, things can get a bit cramped for a few hours. It is just the way things go in a busy part of the city. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the afternoon rush to settle down. It’s honest work and we like being right here where everyone knows our name. The front step is a bit cracked, but it still holds up fine.
