You can find Essel Kitchenware Ltd. at Hmp House on the 5th floor, over at 4 Fairlie Place in West Bengal. It’s an old building with a lot of character, located in a part of town that’s always bustling with people and old taxis. Being on the 5th floor gives us a bit of a view, but mostly we are just looking at the paperwork on our desks. We deal with kitchen items, mostly things people use every day in their homes. Our office isn't some modern glass box; it’s a lived-in space with old wooden desks and stacks of ledgers. We don't believe in using fancy marketing talk or making ourselves sound bigger than we are. We just show up every morning, have our tea, and start going through the orders. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, and we have to walk, but that’s just part of being in an older part of the city. We have a small team, and most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need a lot of meetings to know what to do. It’s a very straightforward way of running a business. We focus on the products and the people who buy them, keeping things as simple as possible. No big claims, just honest work in a historic building. We just get the job done and head home like everyone else.
