You can find us at number 4, right behind Balaka Market in the Dabar Park area of Garia. We’re tucked away a bit, next to Baghajatin. It’s a quieter spot compared to the main market road, which gets really crowded in the mornings. We run a kitchen shop here. It’s a small space where we keep all the different models on display. It’s not a very big store, so things are packed in pretty tight. We spend our time talking to the local people who come in looking for something for their homes. Most of them are our neighbors from the new apartment blocks nearby. We don’t go in for fancy talk or big sales pitches. We just show people what we have and let them decide. The floor is just plain tile and we have a small desk in the back where we keep our accounts. Sometimes it gets a bit quiet in the afternoons, so we sit out front and watch the people going to the market. Garia is a busy place, but our little corner stays fairly calm. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the people who walk past. We don’t have any big corporate mission. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait to see who drops by. It’s a decent way to spend the day, helping people find what they need for their kitchens without any fuss.
