Das Udyog

Das Udyog is at 43/1A, Ram Dulal Sarkar Street. We are very close to the Girish Park Police Station. This is an old part of the city, and the street can get very crowded with all sorts of people and vehicles. Our place isn't very big, and it’s tucked away in a building that has seen better days. We handle manufacturing, mostly small parts and assembly. The room we work in has high ceilings and big windows, but it still gets quite hot in the summer. We have a few machines that hum all day long. Most of our workers live in the neighborhood and have been with us for years. We aren't a fancy business. There are no receptionists or polished floors here. We just have our work benches and the tools we need. Sometimes the noise from the street is louder than our machines. We don't have a website or a marketing team. If you need something from us, you just walk down the street and come inside. We’ve been here for a long time and we know the other shopkeepers on the block. It’s a tight community. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. If there’s a power cut, we take a break and sit on the steps until it comes back on. It’s just how things are on Ram Dulal Sarkar Street and we like it.
