Essel Kitchenware (P) Ltd is located on the 5th floor of 4 Fairlie Place. It’s an older building, and getting up to the 5th floor is part of our daily routine. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. The office is pretty basic, just desks and chairs and the stuff we need to run the business. We don’t have any big, shiny signs or a fancy lobby. We just get on with it. Fairlie Place is a busy spot, always something happening outside. We can hear the city noise from up here, but it’s just background sound to us now. Our team is small and we’ve worked together for a long while. We don't really use corporate speak or have big meetings about our vision. We just look at what needs to be done for the day and we do it. The kitchenware business is straightforward, so we keep our office that way too. Sometimes the lift is out of order and we have to take the stairs, which isn't great, but we manage. We chose this spot because it’s central and easy to reach. Most of the time we’re just busy with paperwork or talking to people. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s ours. We’re just people working at 4 Fairlie Place, trying to keep things organized and moving along. It is a steady way of life for all of us here.
