Nichiketa Garments Company

Nichiketa Garments Company is located at BF-284 in Salt Lake Sector I. We are on the ground floor of the building. Salt Lake is a bit different from the crowded parts of central Kolkata. It feels a bit more open and quiet here. We have a decent amount of space for our garment work. The ground floor makes it very easy for us to load and unload the trucks that come by. We do not have a big showroom with mannequins in the window. It is mostly just a workspace with shelves and cutting tables. We have a small group of workers who handle the stitching and the quality checks. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try not to make too much noise. There is a small porch out front where we sometimes take our tea breaks. We have been at this address for several years now. We do not use any complicated systems to run things. Everything is written down in registers. We like the simple way of doing business. The light in Sector I is quite good during the day, which helps with the sewing. We do not spend much on fancy office supplies. Most of our budget goes into the materials we use for the garments. It is a steady life here. We just show up every day and make sure the orders are filled. We are happy with how things are going in our small corner of Salt Lake.
