You can find us over at 22, Old Ballygunge 2nd Lane in Kolkata. It’s an old part of the city, and the building reflects that history. We’ve been operating Nicco Internet Ventures Ltd from here for quite some time. The internet business changes fast, but our office stays pretty much the same. We have wires running everywhere and the smell of old paper and electronics. It’s a busy place, especially in the afternoons when everyone is trying to hit their deadlines. We aren't trying to be one of those modern tech hubs with bean bags and game rooms. We just have desks, chairs, and good connections. Most of the staff has been around for years, so we all know how each other takes their tea. Working in 700019 means we deal with the usual Kolkata traffic and rain, but we make it work. We don't spend much time on fancy websites or trying to look bigger than we are. If you walk down the lane, you might miss the entrance if you aren't paying attention. We like it that way. It’s a practical space for practical people. We focus on the digital stuff so our clients don’t have to worry about it. It’s just honest work done by people who know their way around a computer. We don't need a lot of praise, just the satisfaction of seeing a project finally go live after a long week of troubleshooting problems.
