Located at 28/1/A Ratan Sarkar Garden Street in Kolkata, we have been running Newsabari Roller Flour Mills for quite some time now. It’s a busy part of the city, and our daily life revolves around the mill. Dealing with flour every day means there is a lot of dust and noise, which we have just gotten used to over the years. The machines run almost constantly to keep up with the work. It is not a fancy job, but people always need flour for their meals, so we just focus on getting that finished. Our spot in Kolkata is right in the middle of everything, which makes it easier for moving bags in and out, even if the streets are narrow and crowded. Sometimes trucks have a hard time getting through, but we manage somehow. There is a lot of manual work involved, like lifting heavy sacks and making sure the grinders are set right. The mill is not some high-tech office; it is a practical place where real work happens. We do not spend money on big signs or fancy decorations. Most of our time is spent ensuring the grain is right and the flour comes out okay. Dealing with local shops and suppliers takes up the rest of our day. It is a straightforward business, and we do not try to be anything we are not. If you walk by this street, you can hear the rollers turning. It is just what we do here.
