New Woodpecker

New Woodpecker is our little business located at 708 in Lake Town, Block A. We are very close to the Jaya Cinema Hall, which makes it very easy for people to find us. Most people in Lake Town use the cinema as a reference point anyway. We work with wood and furniture, doing all sorts of repairs and new pieces. Our shop is usually filled with the smell of sawdust and varnish. It is a busy place and we have been here for a long time. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just have our tools and our hands. People bring in their broken chairs or ask us to make a new wardrobe, and we do our best to finish it on time. Sometimes we run a bit behind because a certain piece of wood is hard to find or the weather is too humid for the polish to dry. That is just how it is with this kind of work. We aren't a big factory; we are a local shop in Block A. We know our customers by name and they know us. It’s a friendly atmosphere here. If you walk past Jaya Cinema and head towards our block, you’ll probably hear us working. We don't put on any acts or pretend to be something we aren't. We are just woodworkers trying to do a decent job for the people of Kolkata. Stop by if you need something fixed.
