You can find Neeraj Apparels over at Flat No. 103A in Ganges Residency. Our building is on 36 T.C. Road, which is in the Kolkata-700053 area of West Bengal. It’s a bit different running a business out of a residency, but it works for us. It keeps things feeling a bit more personal and less like a cold factory. We spend our days working with different fabrics and designs right here in the flat. Kolkata is a city that loves its clothes, so it feels like the right place to be. T.C. Road can get pretty loud with all the traffic and people moving about, but once you’re inside Ganges Residency, it’s a bit more manageable. We don't have a big fancy storefront with lights. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they know the neighborhood. We’ve been at this for a while and we’ve learned a lot along the way. Sometimes the delivery vans have trouble parking on the narrow streets, but we always figure it out. It’s just the way things are in this part of town. We’re just regular folks who enjoy making apparel. We don't put on airs or try to act bigger than we are. It’s a small, honest operation and we like keeping it that way. There is always something to do, so we stay pretty busy.
