Muwal Technical Education (Opc) Private Limited is based out of 28/1A, Beni Nandan Street, here in Kolkata. Being an OPC means it is a small operation, mostly just handled from this one spot. We focus on technical education because that is what we know. The street is typical for Kolkata—busy, a bit narrow, and always something going on outside. Our office isn’t huge, but it fits what we need. We have some computers and materials for the technical courses we offer. We spend a lot of our mornings answering emails and getting things ready for whoever is coming in. It’s a lot of sitting and looking at screens or fixing little technical glitches that pop up unexpectedly. Beni Nandan Street is a good place to be because it’s central enough for people to find us. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a shiny reception area. It’s more of a workspace where the actual work gets done. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon for us. We have been at 28/1A for a while now and we know the neighbors pretty well. It’s just a straightforward place where we try to teach people practical skills they can use. We don’t use a lot of big words or fancy talk, we just explain how things work and hope people get it. It’s a bit of a grind, but we like it.
