Institute Of Non Destructive Testing

If you walk past the Chaitanya Gaudiya Math, you will find us at 33/2A Satish Mukherjee Road. The Institute Of Non Destructive Testing is tucked away in a spot that’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for the sign. We spend most of our time teaching people how to check metal and parts without breaking them. It is a lot of technical stuff involving machines and sensors. The classrooms are filled with different types of equipment and some old desks that have seen better days. We aren't a big university with a campus. It is just a few rooms where we get down to business. Most of the guys who come here are looking to get better jobs in factories or on construction sites. We show them the ropes and let them practice on the samples we have piled up. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when we are running certain tests, but the neighbors are used to us by now. We don't spend much on decorating the place. The walls have some charts and diagrams pinned up, and that’s about it. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we go during the breaks. It’s a simple setup, but it works for what we need to do. We’ve been at this Satish Mukherjee Road location for a long time, and we don't plan on moving anywhere else soon. It’s just us doing our thing every week and helping folks learn.
