We are located at Murarka House, 17 Bhawani Dutt Lane. It’s a narrow lane in an old part of the city, so it can be quite a squeeze when trucks are trying to get through. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building itself has been around even longer. S. N. Murarka Overseas Pvt. Ltd. is a family-type business. We don't have any of those modern office setups with glass walls and bright colors. Our place is full of old furniture and stacks of files that go back years. We do overseas trade, which involves a lot of phone calls and even more emails. It’s about making sure things get from here to there without getting stuck. We aren't a big, polished company. We are just regular people who have learned the trade over many years. We don't do much in the way of promotion; we just rely on the fact that we’ve been doing this for a long time and people know us. Sometimes the work is slow and other times we can't keep up, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We like being on Bhawani Dutt Lane because it feels like home. We aren't trying to change how the world works, we just want to do our job properly and look after our family and staff.
