Munshiram Jaibhagwan

Munshiram Jaibhagwan is located on the ground floor at 73/1 Cotton Street. Being on the ground floor is very handy because we don’t have to deal with any stairs or lifts when we’re moving goods in and out of the shop. Cotton Street is one of those places that is always packed with people and handcarts, so it can be pretty loud and chaotic. We’ve been here for a long time, and the shop has a lot of history to it. We don’t have any fancy signs or modern, colorful decor. It is mostly just stacks of goods, some old ledgers, and a few wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait. We deal with textiles and other things, and we’ve learned a lot about the business over the years just by being here every single day. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation or using complicated words. We’re just a local business trying to make a living and do right by people. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and the street gets muddy, but we just carry on like everyone else. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here, and there’s a good sense of community among us. We don’t have a big plan for massive growth; we just want to keep doing what we do well and look after our regular people.
