Mtex Fashion

Mtex Fashion is located at No. 32B/6 on Hara Mohan Ghosh Lane. It is one of those very narrow Kolkata lanes where you have to be careful walking if a rickshaw is coming through. The building is quite old and has these very thick brick walls that actually stay somewhat cool even when the sun is beating down in the summer. We do not have much in the way of signs or any kind of decorations on the outside. It is just a heavy wooden door with the house number painted on it in white. Inside, the space is long and narrow, just like the lane outside. We have got rows of workstations and a lot of thread spools scattered all over the place. The floor is made of old tiles that are chipped and worn down in the corners from years of people walking on them. We usually have a small radio playing a local station in the background while we work. It is a bit cluttered, if I am being honest. There are boxes stacked up against the walls and half-finished pieces of clothing draped over the backs of the chairs. We get a lot of rain during the monsoon season, and the lane outside gets quite muddy, so we have to spend a lot of time cleaning the floors. It is a quiet street for the most part, with just a few other small workshops nearby.
