You can find us in Tollygunje, specifically at Nehru Colony. We are up on the first floor of Nehru Apartment in Room 3. It’s a partnership firm, so there are a few of us here working together. S.Poddar has been operating out of this room for quite some time. The apartment building is an older one, which gives it a bit of character. We handle audits, taxes, and all that kind of stuff for local businesses and individuals. It’s a busy place during the day, especially when the tax deadlines are approaching. The desks are usually covered in ledger books and folders. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’re too busy with the work itself. Tollygunje is a nice part of Kolkata to work in, even if finding parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. Most people just walk over or take an auto. Inside the office, it’s pretty straightforward. We have some old wooden chairs and a lot of filing cabinets. We try to keep things organized, but when you have this much paperwork, it’s a constant battle. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just help people get their financial records in order. It’s a steady job and we’ve been doing it a long time now. People know us as a reliable place to get the bookkeeping done without any fuss or extra nonsense. It's just simple work.
