M/S Sadbhav Engineering Ltd.

Sadbhav Engineering operates out of an apartment in Kolkata. We are in Flat D2 of the Rupmanjari Apartment building on Vidyasagar Sarini in the Barabagan area. It’s a busy part of the city, but once you get inside the flat, it’s relatively quiet. We work on engineering projects from here, mostly handling the planning and the paperwork side of things. It’s a bit cramped with all the files and folders, but we make it work. Sajeev Kumar is the one who keeps everything running smoothly. We’ve got a small balcony where we take breaks and watch the traffic below. Kolkata life is always moving, and we are just a small part of it. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and we have calendars from three years ago still hanging up for some reason. We don't have a boardroom or anything like that. Usually, meetings happen around the dining table that we’ve turned into a desk. It’s a very informal environment. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the local news between tasks. People might think it’s strange to run an engineering firm out of a flat, but it works for us. It keeps the costs down and we are right in the heart of our community. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just focus on the drawings and the numbers until the job is done.
