You can find us over at 30 Park Lane in Kolkata. We operate out of a space cared for by Mr. S.B. Kapur, and Sanjay Sarpal is the one usually handling things here. Park Lane is a well-known spot, so it’s not too hard for people to reach us. The building has that old Kolkata feel to it, which we quite like. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of files and a few sturdy desks. We don’t go in for anything flashy. Most days are spent going through paperwork and making sure everything is in order. It can get pretty warm in the summer, so the old ceiling fans are always humming in the background. We usually have the radio on low or just the sound of the street coming through the windows. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure the work gets done correctly. We’ve been in this location for a good bit of time now, and we know the neighborhood like the back of our hands. There is a certain way things move in this part of the city, and we just follow that rhythm. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just prefer doing things the old-fashioned way with pen and paper and face-to-face talks. It’s a simple life here at the office. We just keep at it and make sure the logs are kept up to date.
