Our office is situated at 3G Golf Residency, 74 1A Golf Club Road in Kolkata. It is a nice part of the city, fairly easy to find if you are familiar with the 700033 area. We are Mottmacdonald Pvt Ltd and we focus on the consultancy side of things. The office itself is part of a residency, so it has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. We have several rooms filled with files and equipment. It is not the kind of place with glass walls and modern art. It is more about folders, pens, and stacks of drawings. We spend our mornings going through emails and our afternoons usually involve some sort of meeting or calculation. Kolkata is a city that never really stops, but inside the office, we try to keep things focused. We have been here long enough that we know where to get the best snacks nearby. The work we do is technical and requires a lot of attention to detail, so we try not to have too many distractions. We do not put out big brochures or try to impress anyone with fancy talk. We just tell people what they need to know about their projects. It is a straightforward way of doing things. Some days are busier than others, especially when deadlines are close, but we manage to get through it. It is just our little workspace on Golf Club Road.
