Mitra Engineers

Mitra Engineers is out at Plot No. 692 on R. N. C. Road. It’s in the Subhasgram area, near the Kodalia post office. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with blueprints and metal scraps scattered around. We do a lot of technical work, so there is always someone staring at a machine or measuring something with a scale. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend much on decor because the focus is on the jobs we have to finish. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, which is just part of living in this area. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. The commute out to Subhasgram can be long for some, but it’s where we have our space. We handle various engineering tasks that people bring to us. It’s not always easy work, and sometimes things don't go exactly as planned on the first try. We just keep at it until the part fits or the machine runs. The air in the workshop smells like metal and old coffee. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm around, just a reliable place where the work gets done. There’s no corporate talk here, just plain conversation about how to fix a problem or get a project finished by the weekend.
