If you walk down P-10 New Howrah Bridge Approach Road, you’ll find us on the ground floor. Being in the Howrah District means it’s always crowded and busy outside our door. Minu Fashion has been operating from this spot for some time now. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making and selling clothes like many others around here. The shop floor is usually a bit of a mess with different materials scattered about, but we know where everything is. It gets hot in the summer, especially with the bridge traffic right there, but we have a few fans going to keep us sane. We see a lot of people passing by every day. Some stop in to ask questions and others are just rushing to get across the river. It’s a practical setup. We don't have a big marketing team or a glossy brochure. We just focus on the garments and getting them out to whoever needs them. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic jams on the bridge, which is frustrating, but we deal with it. Working in this part of Howrah keeps you on your toes. There’s always noise and something happening right outside. We like being on the ground floor because it’s easy to move stuff in and out without dealing with stairs. It’s just us, doing our thing day after day. We don't have fancy titles or anything. Everyone just helps out where they can and we try to get home before the evening rush gets too bad.
