Milan Fashion Store

We are located at number 20 on G Park Street, right near GKB Opticals. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows the optical shop. Milan Fashion Store is a place where there’s always something hanging from a rack or draped over a chair. We don’t have a lot of space, so we have to use every inch of the walls. The hangers make a clicking sound as people slide them across the metal rods, which is a sound I hear in my sleep sometimes. We’ve got a big mirror in the back that’s a bit old but it does the job. Most days, it’s just the sound of the street outside and the ceiling fan spinning overhead. We don’t have a fancy website or a big social media thing, we just open the doors and see who comes in. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to stay after hours to get everything sorted and put away. The front window gets a lot of fingerprints on it, so someone is always out there with a cloth trying to keep it clear. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything. We know the other shop owners on Park Street and we usually chat for a bit when things are slow. It’s a comfortable place to work, even if it gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of new stock.
