We’re over at 12/3B, New Santoshpur 1st Lane in Kolkata. Megha Technical & Engineers Pvt. Ltd. (Star Cement) is our name, and we work closely with the cement business. This part of Santoshpur is where we’ve set up shop. It’s a bit of a maze in these lanes, but we’ve been here long enough to know every corner. Our work is mainly technical, focusing on engineering needs for cement and construction. It’s a lot of talk about mix ratios, strength, and logistics. Kolkata is a city that’s always moving, and we try to keep up with the pace. Our office is full of files and samples. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a high-rise downtown. It’s more lived-in and real. We have workers coming in and out at all hours. We don't have time for corporate speeches. We just want to make sure the materials are right and the engineers have what they need. Sometimes the humidity makes everything a bit slower, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job well so the buildings in this city stay standing.
