Mecon Ltd

Over in West Bengal, we are based in Hooghly at Doloipara, House Number 18, near the Makhla post office. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood, and our office fits right into that scene. The building is a typical house that’s been converted into a working space for Mecon Ltd. It’s got a very local, relaxed atmosphere. You won't find any marble lobbies here. It’s mostly just desks shoved into rooms that used to be living spaces. We spend our days dealing with various engineering tasks and coordination. The street outside is usually quiet, except for the occasional rickshaw or the sound of someone’s radio. We like it that way because it lets us focus on the technical details without too many distractions. There’s a small garden area in the front that’s mostly overgrown, but it’s nice to look at during breaks. We drink a lot of tea, mostly from the little shop at the corner of the lane. The work we do is practical and necessary, even if it’s not particularly glamorous. Most of the people working here are from the local area, so we all speak the same language and understand how things work around here. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just take the assignments we get, work through them at a steady pace, and try to finish our day before it gets too late. It’s a simple, honest way to run an office.
