Our office is on the ground floor at 177A Park Street. If you know Kolkata, you know Park Circus is always a bit of a maze with all the traffic and people. We are tucked away near Park Sweet, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us the first time. The building is older, but it has that classic Kolkata feel to it. Inside, it’s mostly just us working on engineering problems and looking at technical sheets. It can get pretty loud outside with the horns and the street vendors, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We chose this spot because it's central and people can reach us from different parts of the city. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for deliveries to come in without having to deal with stairs or small lifts. We usually have a pot of tea going because that’s how we get through the long afternoons. It's a small group of us here, and we’ve all been working together for a while. There is no corporate dress code or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of work. People stop by to discuss projects or sometimes just to escape the rain during the monsoon season. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just the stuff we need to get the engineering work done. We know the area around Park Circus very well and have seen how the buildings have changed.
