Arvind Engineeering Works Ltd.

Our workshop, Arvind Engineeering Works Ltd., is situated at P-25 on Taratalla Road. If you know this part of town, you know it’s an industrial hub. There’s always trucks moving and the smell of oil in the air. We’ve been around for a long time, doing all sorts of engineering jobs. We have lathes, milling machines, and all the usual tools you’d expect in a place like this. It’s not a clean environment, there’s metal shavings everywhere and the floors are stained, but it’s a working shop. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures. Most of us are just engineers or mechanics who enjoy fixing things or making new parts from scratch. We’ve seen Taratalla Road change quite a bit over the decades. Some businesses have closed, and new ones have opened, but we’re still here at P-25. We take on jobs that some bigger places might turn down because they’re too small or too fiddly. We like the challenge of a weird repair job. We don’t promise the moon, we just tell people what we can do and when it’ll be ready. It’s a straightforward way to live. We’re just a group of people who are good with our hands and try to keep the machines running for as long as we can. It's not glamorous, but it is honest work that needs to be done.
