Arrow Engineering Works

Arrow Engineering Works is tucked away in Ultadanga, right on Guru Das Dutta Garden Lane. It’s number 7/1 if you’re looking for the gate. This part of Kolkata, around Telenga Bagan, is always alive with people and small shops. We’ve been working out of this space for quite some years now. It’s an old building, nothing flashy, but it serves our purpose for the engineering work we do. Most days you’ll find us surrounded by tools, lathes, and bits of metal. It gets a bit cramped when we have a big project going on, but we make it work. The lane outside is narrow so getting bigger materials in can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes. We don’t really have a big sales team or a fancy reception desk. Usually, it’s just one of us answering the phone while trying to finish a job on the floor. We do a lot of repair work and small-scale manufacturing for other local businesses. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Sometimes the tea break is the only quiet time we get. We know the people around here and they know us. If you need something fixed or a part made, you just walk in. We don't use much technology for the business side of things, mostly just sticking to the notebooks and our experience with the machines. It’s just a regular workshop.
