Ashwin Engineers

You can find us at Shed No. C1/B3 on Plot 155-156/3 in the G.I.D.C. area of Naroda. It’s right across from the Deepak Oil Mill, which makes it easier to explain to people who are looking for us. Ashwin Engineers is basically a workshop. It’s loud, it’s a bit greasy, and there is always some kind of machinery running. We spend our days fixing things, looking at parts, and trying to figure out why something stopped working. The shed gets pretty hot in the summer, but we’re used to it. We aren't the type to wear suits or sit in fancy chairs. Most of our clothes have some kind of stain on them from the oil or the metal. It’s a busy industrial zone, so there are always trucks moving around outside. We keep our tools organized on the walls, though sometimes they end up scattered on the workbench when we're in the middle of a big job. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. People mostly find us because they know we’re here in Naroda. We just take the jobs as they come and try to get them finished on time. It’s straightforward engineering work, nothing more and nothing less. We've been in this shed for years and it’s become like a second home to us. It is just where the real work happens every day.
