Our workshop is located at number 20 on Wellesley 2nd Lane, right on the ground floor. If you've been to this part of Kolkata, you know the lanes can be a bit narrow and crowded, but that's just the way the city is. We’ve been here for years and we’ve seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood. Being on the ground floor makes it easy to move things in and out, which is good for the kind of engineering work we do. It’s not a shiny new office. It’s got some age to it, and there’s always a bit of grease and dust around, but that’s because we’re actually working. We don't have a receptionist or a big waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us busy with some machinery or looking over some plans. We keep things simple and honest. We don’t talk much about goals or visions. We just look at what needs to be fixed or built and we do it. Sometimes the rains in Kolkata make the lane a bit difficult to navigate, but we always show up and get the job done. It’s a small group of us here, and we’ve all been doing this for a long time. We like being in the heart of the city where everything is happening. It’s a solid place to work and we don't plan on changing much about how we operate daily.
