Masis Inter Fashion

Our workshop is located at 129 PK Guha Lane, right in the Dumdum Cantt area of Kolkata. If you know this part of the city, you know the lanes can be a bit narrow and busy. We’ve been at this 700028 address for a while. It’s where all the work for Masis Inter Fashion happens. It’s not a fancy boutique with bright lights. It’s more of a place where things actually get made. You’ll hear the machines running and people talking over the noise of the street outside. We have piles of fabric and patterns lying around most of the time. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how we work best. Being near the cantonment means there is always a lot of movement nearby. The 129 building is an old one, but it stays cool enough in the summer. We spend our days cutting, sewing, and checking things over. It’s a small team here. We all know each other and we just get on with the job. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall down the lane. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don’t put on airs or try to look like a big corporation. We’re just a bunch of people in Kolkata making clothes. If you ever find yourself walking down PK Guha Lane, you’ll probably hear us before you see the sign on the door. It’s home for us and we plan to stay here for many more years.
