Mandelia Engineering Works

We’ve been at the Century Plaza building on Netaji Subhas Road for a while now. If you know Kolkata, you know how busy this area gets. Our office is up on the second floor in room 203. It's not a huge place, but it works for what we do here at Mandelia Engineering Works. Most days are spent dealing with parts, technical drawings, and talking to people who need specific engineering solutions. It can get pretty noisy outside with all the traffic and horns, but inside we just focus on the job at hand. We handle a lot of different requests. Sometimes it’s straightforward, other times it takes a bit of thinking to figure out the right approach for a customer. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we get things done. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to this part of the city for years. We try to be helpful when someone walks in with a problem. Dealing with engineering stuff in West Bengal means you meet all sorts of clients. Some are looking for big industrial items and others just need a small replacement part. We keep things simple here. There isn’t much corporate talk. We just open up in the morning, check what needs doing, and work through the list. It’s been our way for a long time. If you’re around the 81 Netaji Subhas Road area, you probably know the building.
