Our shop is located at 43, M.G. Road. It is a very old part of Kolkata and the traffic is always heavy outside. We have been working out of this space for quite some time. It is not a very big store, but we make the most of the space we have. There are shelves reaching up to the ceiling filled with different kinds of garments. Sometimes it is hard to find exactly what a customer wants right away, so we have to go through the stacks. We focus on getting clothes that people actually want to wear every day. Nothing too flashy, just practical stuff. The 700041 area is quite busy, so we get people coming in and out all afternoon. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when things quiet down for a bit. My staff and I know most of the people who walk past our door. It feels like a small community even though it’s a big city. We don't have a website or anything fancy. People just know we are here on the main road. The fans hum all day to keep the heat away. We keep the doors open so the breeze comes in, along with the dust from the street. It’s just a regular shop where we try to be helpful to anyone who walks in. We don’t promise anything big, just honest work and clothes that fit right.
