If you’re looking for us, we are over at Merlin Links, specifically at 166 B, S. Mukherjee Road. We occupy 4F, which is just high enough to escape some of the street noise, though you can still hear the buses honking if the window is open. Construction is a messy business, but our office stays relatively organized, mostly because our clerk is very particular about where the blueprints go. We’ve been Madhushree Constructions Pvt. Ltd. for a while, and honestly, we just enjoy the process of seeing things get built. There’s always someone coming in with dusty boots or a new set of drawings that need checking. We don’t have a receptionist who greets you with a script; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work with a lot of coffee and some quick lunches ordered from the shop downstairs. The building itself is pretty easy to find once you’re on Mukherjee Road. We spend a lot of our time on phone calls with site managers and suppliers, so the office is never really quiet. We aren’t trying to be the biggest name out there, we just want to finish the jobs we started without too many delays. That’s pretty much the whole story of how we run things every day.
