Machino Engineers

Our workshop is at 77 Rajballav Saha Lane. It is one of those narrow streets where everyone knows each other. You can hear the sounds of metal hitting metal and machines humming from the street before you even get to our door. At Machino Engineers, we aren't doing anything glamorous. It’s mostly just us in our work clothes, getting our hands dirty with different engineering jobs that come our way. The lane is quite old, and sometimes it's a bit of a squeeze when a delivery van tries to get through. We have been in this spot for a good amount of time, and the walls show it. There are tools everywhere, and we have a specific way of organizing things that probably only makes sense to us. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the day’s tasks. We don’t really have a big staff, just a group of people who know how to handle the equipment and aren't afraid of a bit of hard work. Most of our day is spent looking at drawings or standing over a machine. We take our tea breaks out on the lane when it’s not too crowded. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a shiny brochure, but it’s where we do our work. Everything is practical and meant for use, which is how we like it.
