Maa Jaida Medicine Supply

Down here in Murshidabad, we run Maa Jaida Medicine Supply. It’s a family-run kind of thing, mostly focused on getting supplies out to where they need to go. We aren’t located in any big fancy building, just a regular space that fits our needs. Murshidabad is a place with a lot of history, and we’ve been part of this local landscape for some time. Our daily routine involves a lot of checking invoices and moving crates around. The warehouse part of our shop is usually where you’ll find us. It’s not always the most organized looking place, especially when a new shipment arrives and everything is sitting in the middle of the floor. But we know where every box belongs. We talk to a lot of different people, from small clinic owners to people just looking for a specific bottle of something. We don't really do much advertising. People mostly hear about us from their neighbors or other business folks in the area. The weather here can be quite humid, so we try our best to keep the shop cool with a couple of old ceiling fans that hum all day. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when the orders pile up, but we just take it one day at a time. It’s just us, the medicine, and the daily grind in Murshidabad. We often have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down a bit.
