At M N Dastur & Company Pvt, Limited, we have been set up at 11, S. N. Banerjee Road for quite some time. Barrackpur is a place with a lot of character and history, and being right here in Kolkata 700120 means we are always in the middle of things. Our office isn't anything too special to look at from the outside, but it’s where all the main decisions happen. We have a small team of people who have been working together for a long time. They know their way around the files and the technical requirements better than anyone. You can hear the city noise from the street outside, but once you step inside, it's just the sound of keyboards and people talking about projects. We try to keep things simple. We don't go in for big presentations or corporate speak. We just look at the work, figure out how to get it done, and then do it. It’s a practical way of living. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but that is just part of being in West Bengal. We take it as it comes. Being on S. N. Banerjee Road makes it easy for folks to drop in when they need to discuss something face-to-face. We prefer that anyway. It feels more honest to talk in person after all these years of working in the neighborhood.
