Lokenath Medicine

We've been at 50 D.H.Rd. in Barisha for a while now. It's a busy spot right on the main road, and honestly, the noise from the passing buses never really stops. Most days it's just us handling the usual crowd coming in for their monthly prescriptions or just some Band-Aids. People around here know the shop because of the old blue sign, though the paint is peeling a bit lately. My brother and I take turns behind the counter, mostly because it’s hard to find reliable help these days who know where everything is kept. The shelves are a bit crowded, but we manage to find what people need if they give us a minute. Sometimes the shipments from the distributors show up late, which is a headache, but that’s just how things go in this part of Barisha. We don’t do anything fancy here, just sell medicine and try to keep the books straight. The floor gets dusty from all the foot traffic off the street, so we’re always sweeping. It’s a small place, not like those big chain stores you see in the city. We know most of our neighbors by name, and they know us. If you’re walking down D.H. Road, you’ll see us near the corner. It's nothing special to look at, just a regular shop doing its thing day in and day out. We try to keep the fridge running cold for the insulin, even when the power acts up.
