Lime Impex

Lime Impex is situated on Road No. 14 - E Royd Street, which is very close to the Bata More landmark. If you know that area, you know it is always humming with activity. There are shops everywhere and people always on the move. Our office is tucked away slightly, but we are right in the thick of it. We deal with impex, which basically means a lot of paperwork and tracking containers. It isn't always exciting, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The space we have is filled with computers and old ledger books because we still like to keep physical copies of everything. We have a small crew, and we’ve all learned to work around each other in the tight space. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out or work by the light from the windows. It is a very local way of doing things. We don't have a website that we update or anything like that. Most of our connections are old ones that have been around for years. We know the courier guys by name, and they know exactly where to leave the packages. Royd Street is a good place for us because everything is nearby. If we need a part or some stationery, we just walk down the block. It’s a practical location for a business like ours that doesn't need much more than a desk and a phone. We just keep things moving every day.
