Our place is at 11/1 on Jheel Road. This is over in the New Land area of Jadavpur in Kolkata. The pin code is 700075. If you know Kolkata, you know Jadavpur is a pretty famous part of town with the university and all the history there. Jheel Road is usually quite busy with people moving around all day. We are just one of the many buildings along this stretch. The office is pretty simple. We don't have fancy decorations or big glass walls. It’s just an old-fashioned Kolkata building where we do our work. Larsen N Tubro has been at this address for a good bit of time. We see the same neighbors every day and watch the rickshaws go by outside. The monsoon season makes the road a bit messy, but that’s just how it is in this city. We have a few rooms where the staff sits and works on their projects. It’s not a very quiet place because of the city noise, but we are used to it by now. We usually get our lunch from the local shops nearby. There are plenty of places to grab a quick snack. We just try to keep things organized and get through the pile of work on our desks. It’s a very normal, everyday sort of office environment for us. We don't bother with anything flashy and just stick to the routine. It works for the group here and keeps us grounded in the local neighborhood.
